XLIII Nacional Sessions Socidrogalcohol
The students of the Master’s degree attend the XLIII National Sessions organised by SOCIDROGALCOHOL from 10 to 12 March 2016 in Alicante. In these sessions, they present their Master’s degree final projects, together with the most recent studies of INVESDROGA group.

Scientific communications
Researchers of the Psychobiological Research of Drug Addictions Unit (INVESDROGA) and students of the Master presented their works in the “1st In PhD Student & Postdoc Meeting” that with the title “Building Neuroscience: The future of a multidisciplinary field” organizes the Institute of Neurosciences of Alicante, the 18th and 19th February 2016.

Doctoral Thesis defense
The 20th of January 2017 at 16,30 at the Saló de Graus of the Faculty of Psychology, the Thesis defense of the Doctoral student Ana Mateos García will take place under the following title: "Efectos a largo plazo de la exposición al alcohol y a la cocaína durante la adolescencia en modelos animales: factores de riesgo y posibles tratamientos en la adicción a la cocaína" directed by Doctor M.Carmen Arenas Fenollar, Doctor Carmen Manzanedo Pérez and Doctor José Miñarro López.

Doctoral Thesis defense
Last 15 December 2015, the Doctoral Thesis defense entitled "Pre - pulse Inhibition marker psychophysiologic sensitivity to the reinforcing effects of cocaine in male and female mice" was defended by Ms Concepción Inmaculada Navarro Francés and directedby Doctor Carmen Arenas Fenollar, Doctor Carmen Manzanedo Pérez and Doctor José Miñarro López. The Assessing Committee awarded her a 'Cum Laudem' distinction

Last 15 June, 2015, the Doctoral Thesis defense entitled "Influence of social stress in the rewarding effects of MDMA and alcohol" was defended by Ms Pilar García Pardo and directed by Dr Asunción Aguilar Calpe. The Assessing Committee awarded her a 'Cum Laudem' distinction.
