Yes, the enrolment regulations of the UV allow students to enrol in a master’s degree on a part-time basis. Part-time students take only between 24 and 36 ECTS credits per year. 

Only Graduated students can apply to Phase 1.

But, in Phase 2 pre-enrolment in the master's degree programme is open to those who are in one of these situations:

1. Students who are in possession of an official university degree that gives access to Master's studies, or who are in the process of obtaining it, at the latest by the dates indicated in the calendar on the website https://ir.uv.es/ixsr0oz.

Official master’s degree last either one or two years, that is, between 60 and 120 ECTS credits. 

All official Master's Degrees are offered in phases 1 and 2. The extraordinary phase only offers those Master's Degrees with available places after the enrolment processes of phases 1 and 2.

Each master’s degree may establish specific requirements for admission, such as a qualification within a particular field of knowledge or a specific language certificate. It can be due to different reasons:

• You have not provided any Transcript of Records.
• In the case of foreign students, either because you have not provided the apostille/legalisation of the Transcript of records, or because you have not provided the required Document for Grades Equivalence.

No. To be admitted to a UV Master's Degree, students must fulfil the general pre-enrolment process so that their documentation is checked by the Academic Coordinating Committee (CCA), they get a final evaluation mark, and places are ranked and allocated according to the given mark. A director's admission letter is not a valid document to access a Master's Degree.

No, if you have paid for the equivalence fee this year or previous years in the UV or in another university, and it has been approved, you don't have to pay again as long as the application is made from the same Degree. To avoid being required to pay, you must attach to the applicacion for the proof of payment of the fee and the Favourable Resolution of Equivalence indicating the foreign degree that was subject to verification.

After submitting the application, the selected Master's Degrees can be modified until the last day of deadline using the application form link. After this date, no modifications will be allowed.

New documentation can also be attached for the evaluation as long as it is presented before the deadline. Check the deadlines for each phase in the pre-enrolment calendar.

Only Graduated students can apply to Phase 1.

Places will be allocated according to the preferences indicated and the results of evaluation made by the the Academic Coordinating Committee (CCA). That allocation shall be binding. So enrolment changes won’t be accepted if they don’t follow the preference indicated in the application.

Each master’s degree has an Academic Coordinating Committee that runs the degree. As part of the admission process, after each of the phases in which pre-enrolment is organised, these committees meet and assess the candidates’ applications. As a result, the Student Services publish the list of candidates admitted, included on the waiting list and excluded. Additionally, each applicant is individually notified by email of the final result of the process. 

Pre-enrolment is a process that takes place before enrolment during which applications for a course are assessed and the places available are allocated. Therefore, the final step in the pre-enrolment process is to notify candidates if they have been admitted, included on the waiting list or excluded.

Enrolment is therefore a process that follows pre-registration. Only students admitted in the corresponding pre-registration phase who, in addition, have accredited the completion of the studies that give access to the Master's degree can enrol in the established period (see the exact dates at: https://ir.uv.es/ixsr0oz). Once the enrolment period and the waiting list appeals have been completed, if places are still available, students who have been admitted and who have pending studies (TFG/Final Year Project and a maximum of 9 ECTS credits) may enrol.

Yes, but only for holders of degrees issued outside the EHEA that have not been officially recognised in Spain. In these cases, the processing of the pre-enrolment application is subject to a fee of €155.22 for the verification of equivalence of the foreign qualification giving access to the master’s degree. The fee is payable by bank card at the time of submitting the online pre-enrolment application.

No. When the degree does not belong to a country of the EU, it is mandatory to provide these documents with the legal validity given by the apostille/legalisation*. In these cases, the application will be excluded and, if a fee has been paid for the equivalence study, it will not be refunded.

The legalisation must be complete in order to be valid, i.e. it must be authenticated by the Ministry of Education of the country of origin, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country of origin and, the most important, the Spanish Embassy/Consulate in the country of origin.

The access to the Master's Degree requires a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent currently.

Exceptionally, students from old Spanish Short Cicles (Diplomaturas), Technical Engineering and Technical architecture can also access the Master's Degree only for the specialties of: Social-Cultural and Community Services, Business, Commerce and Tourism, and Biohealth Care.

Applications from a different Master's Degree are not accepted.

Depending on the degree you access the Master's Degree with (if you have more than one degree, you must choose only one of them), you are assigned a priority according to the speciality you have selected, taking into account its academic affinity with your Degree.
The affinity goes from 1 (most preferable) to 3 (less preferable, assigned if there remain spots available after students with priority 1 or 2 and after passing a level test).

The degree itself serves as certification of B1 proficiency level in the language and no other certificate is necessary. 

According to the access regulations for Master's Degree, students must provide the equivalent of a C1 proficiency certificate in Spanish recognised by the UV: https://links.uv.es/3S63jsy
Also, according to the Memory verification master's degree, students must provide a C1 proficiency level in Catalan to obtain the Master's Degree in Secondary Education Teaching Certificate.

To access the Master's Degree in Legal Practice and Representation, the Degree certificate for being admitted must go through the Homologation process of the Spanish State, even if the Degree certificate comes from an educative system within the EHEA.

No. Homologation is a process to recognise the official nature of a finished education and the foreign Degree certificate that is equal to that of the Spanish Degree certificate. This document is issued by the Ministry of Education/Universities.
Equivalence is the recognition of university education outside of the European Higher Education Area needed for the access of a Spanish University Master's Degree. This document is issued by the university after paying the equivalence fee and after the verification of studies is completed.

Both documents are valid, but the NIE is preferable since its number won't change unlike the passport. However, it is IMPORTANT that the ID number registered in the application matched the ID number on the document provided.

- Official Transcript of Records (marks), with legalisation or apostille on it, as well as a sworn/official translation if applicable (check the Requeriments for foreing graduates).

- Document for grades equivalence: Document based out of 10 according to the process of the Ministry of Education/Universities.

Without these documents, students will receive a 5 out of 10 mark.

Students with pending studies must provide a provisional academic certificate with the personal data and average mark out of 10 of all passed subjects.

The end of studies to access the Master's Degree can be certificate with the Official Degree Certificate or, in EHEA, with the Diploma Supplement.

In case of lacking an official degree certificate, a temporary certificate will be accepted along with an Official Transcript of Records showing the total amount of credits completed.

Uv students do not have to attach the identity card, degree and academic certificate . This documentation will be retrieved automatically by the Student Service. However, it will be necessary to provide, if applicable, the specific documentation required for each Master's degree applied for.

Knowledge of Languages are admission requirements so they must be accredited within the period of application, unless those taught at the Faculty of Teacher Training. Please check the calendar.

Only those certificates that are listed in the Equivalence Table.

Supporting documents in Catalan, Spanish, English, French, Italian or Portuguese are accepted. A translation will be required for the documents issued in any other language. 

Generally, together with your online application, you must submit an electronic copy of: 

• The university degree certificate required to be eligible for admission to the master’s degree studies.
• The academic transcript of marks obtained in the university studies required to be eligible for admission to the master’s degree, which must include the average mark. Foreign students must indicate theiraccording to the procedure established by the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport (http://ir.uv.es/30OjEww). Candidates failing to provide a mark in this 10-point scale will be given an admission average mark of 5 points.
• DNI (Spanish citizens), NIE (residents in Spain) or passport (foreign citizens). 

Additionally, each master’s degree may require other supporting documents according to the specific requirements that may have been established. Refer to the section “Documents to be submitted” for further information.

In case a university degree is issued by the university outside the European Union or any signatory countries to the Agreement on the European Economic Area or to the bilateral agreement with the European Union, you should add to the electronic application legalized or apostilled and translated, if necessary, supporting documents. To process the electronic application, the university requires the documents to be added in an electronic format to the pre-enrolment application.

When the results of the pre-enrolment phase in which you participated have been notified and published, you will be able to download your admission letter through “My personal site” in the Online Office (ENTREU). This electronic document includes a digital signature and a secure verification code (CSV) through which its validity can be verified by any official body.

Pre-admission letters can be issued once the pre-enrolment period starts. From this date, those candidates who have completed the online pre-enrolment process can request a pre-admission letter via the new tiquetingUV application available at https://ir.uv.es/ZVf1Ar7. In your request, please indicate your pre-enrolment application number. In this way you can use it to apply for a scholarship or for any other relevant purposes.
