
Three members of the Teaching Unit for Interns of Spanish Language assisted during five days this course, held in Santander.
Taking the name of linguist Emilio Alarcos llorach, academic of the RAE (Royal Spanish Academy) and pioneer of linguistic functionalism in Spain, the seventeenth edition of this Summer School was held during the week of July 18-22 at the Las Llamas Campus of the Menéndez Pelayo International University, Santander.
This course was organised this year under the name 'Grammar, sintaxis of microdiscourse and teaching the language'.During the five days it was held, professors and researchers from several Spanish universities addressed the concept of macrosintaxis, and how related research will affect the teaching of the Spanish language.
The research interns from the Department of Spanish Language that participated in the course were Adrià Pardo Llibrer, Elena Pascual Aliaga and M. Amparo Soler Bonafont. All three received a full grant from the UIMP.
