On 10 February, students of the International Master’s Degree in Business Administration (iMBA) were given a lecture at ANECOOP about its foundation and its current business model.
ANECOOP is an agri-food cooperative company that integrates, coordinates and commercialises the fruit, vegetable and wine production of the farmers who belong to its 72 cooperatives and partner businesses throughout Spain.
Since its foundation in 1975, it has managed to position itself, among other things, as the leading Spanish fruit and vegetable company and one of the most important in Europe, as well as one of the main citrus fruit operators in the world.
The Master's students had the opportunity to attend an explanation of how it was founded as a second-tier cooperative enterprise and also learnt about its business model through which it commercialises the production of its members in 83 countries.
