On February 20, the presentation of the Mentors Club was made to international students who join the iMBA of the Universitat de València.

María Iborra, member of the club's advisory board of the Faculty of Economics, explained that the goal of the Mentors Club is to provide postgraduate students with a complement to their academic activity allowing them to improve their future professional performance and its career development.

Through this presentation to iMBA students, the Club initiates the selection of students for being mentored emphasizing that February 23 is the deadline for sending the cover letter to the Master’s director explaining the reasons for willing being part of the Mentors Club.

Jan Mankowski, mentored students on 2016-17, the previous edition, told the new potential members his experience of having a mentor and the activities he did in the club; all of this activities favor his professional performance. He also highlighted the knowledge and experience that the manager shared with him; as well as the mentor’s help in his professional career and entrepreneurship.

With the Mentors Club students will have the opportunity to receive support in their professional career from a mentor, a prestigious professional with a successful track record in the field of management or entrepreneurship; being part of the club will be very helpful to generate added value and high impact on students professional development.
