Dr. Ana Isabel Blanco García, Assistant Professor of Procedural Law at the Universitat de València, Professor of the Master in Law, Business and Justice and member of the research group MedArbValencia of the Universitat de València, inaugurated this April 12 the Cycle of conferences that the Faculty of Law of the Universitat de València is going to give at the University Norbert Wiener of Peru by videoconference, addressed to undergraduate students of the Faculty of Law.
The conference, which lasted two hours, dealt with the "Protection of the banking consumer and emphasis on the banking ombudsman", after which a very interesting debate was generated among the attendees. In it, Dr. Blanco not only contextualised the legislative and social panorama regarding consumers, but also the vicissitudes of the existing protection mechanisms in both Europe and Peru, going into detail on the figure of the banking ombudsman and the differences between the Peruvian and Spanish procedure.
