
The lecturers Silvia Barona and Carlos Esplugues are called to be international representatives of the new consulting committee of the Faculty of Law and Political Science of the University Norbert Wiener of Lima (Perú).
On the 30th of April, the establishment of a Advisory Committe of the Faculty of Law and Political Science of the University Norbert Wiener (Lima, Perú) took place at the office of the Faculty above mentioned. The parity Committee is composed of the former dean Pierino Stucchi, former students of the Master’s degree in Law, Business and Justice of the Universitat de València (Spain), some distinguished scholars and personalities linked to the business and institutional area of Perú and Spain. In particular, from the Peruvian university, Madeleine Osterling, Hortencia Rozas Olivera, Silvia Martins, Rafael Muente Schwarz, Ricardo Salazar Chavez, Luis Lescano Sáenz, Ricardo Guevara Bringas and Braulio Arias Villagómez, a scholar secretary of the Faculty.
The international representation of the Committee is composed by the Dra. Dra. h.c. (mult) Silvia Barona Vilar, professor in Procedural Law of the Universitat de València, head of the ‘Grupo de excelencia MedArbValencia’ of the Universitat de València and of the I+D+I MINECO DER2016/74945-R y PROMETEO GVA 2018/111 Projects. Moreover, the Dra. Barona is a lecturer in the Master’s degree in Law, Business and Justice of the Universitat de València; and she performs as a chairperson of the Court of Arbitration and Mediation of the Chamber of Commerce of València. The lecturer Carlos Esplugues Mota is the other Spanish representative. He is professor in International Private Law of the Universitat de València, head of the Master’s degree in Law, Business and Justice and research of the projects above mentioned: I+D+I MINECO DER2016/74945-R y PROMETEO GVA 2018/111.
At this meeting, in which the academic vice-principal of the Universitat Norbert Wiener, the lecturer María del Carmen Blázquez Quintana, some points regarding the undertaking of the Faculty were discussed.
After the establishment of the Committee, the lecturers Barona and Esplugues had the opportunity to meet with the lecturer Blázquez Quintana. At this meeting they dealt with the future collaboration of the research group headed by Barona.
