MUDEJ alumna Rosa Pla receives top marks and international mention for her PhD thesis on the European Digital Services Act.

On Tuesday, April 28, former Master's student Rosa Pla defended her doctoral thesis, entitled "The private application of the European Digital Services Act: issues of judicial jurisdiction and applicable law", conducted under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Guillermo Palao Moreno, Professor of Private International Law at our Faculty and Master's lecturer.

The examining board consisted of three top-level experts: Prof. Dr. Carlos Esplugues (University of Valencia and MUDEJ Director), Prof. Dr. Beatriz Añoveros (University of Barcelona), and Prof. Dr. Marta Pertegás (Universities of Maastricht and Antwerp). The specialists awarded the thesis the highest grade, and it also earned an International Mention.

With this defense, another former student joins the extensive list of MUDEJ alumni who have successfully obtained their PhD degree.
