Last Thursday, May 7, our Master's professor, Dr. Raquel Borges Blázquez, gave a lecture at the Faculty of Law and Political Science of the Norbert Wiener University in Peru, where Dr. Pierino Stucchi López Raygada, a former student of our Master's program, is Dean. The lecture was on the subject of "Criminal Protection against Gender Violence".

The conference addressed the inherent risk of victims of gender violence as well as the positive state obligations to protect citizens by using criminal law to punish the most serious attacks on fundamental rights. The video conference was followed by a lively and interesting debate among the attendees.
