
Participation of several members of the GVA-2018/111 Prometeo Research Group in the Conference "Reflecting on the current situation of the European Union" held at the University of Valladolid on 25 April 2019.
The Conference was organized by Professor Coral Arangüena, Professor of Procedural Law at the University of Valladolid; Montserrat de Hoyos, Professor of Procedural Law accredited to Professor at the University of Valladolid. They are both members of the research group Prometeo GVA 2018/111, as well as Professor Begoña Vidal Fernández, Professor of Procedural Law at the same University.
Other members of the Prometeo GVA 2018/111 research group also participated in the conference, which dealt with various current aspects of European Union law, as stated in the event's brochure. Particularly, Professor Dr. Dr. h.c. (mult) Silvia Barona Vilar, Professor of Procedural Law at the Universitat de València, Director of the MedArbValencia Excellence Group and the Prometeo GVA 2018/111 Research Group and lecturer on the Master's Degree in Law, Business and Justice at the UValencia dealt with the topic "Artificial Intelligence: Evolution or Need in Europe". On her part, Professor Isabel González Cano, Professor of Procedural Law at the University of Seville and member of the aforementioned Prometeo Group, tackled the problem of "Protection of personal data in criminal investigations". Finally, Professor Carlos Esplugues Mota, Professor of Private International Law at the Universitat de València, Director of the Master in Law, Business and Justice at the Universitat de València, member of the excellence group MedArbValencia and the research group Prometeo GVA 2018/111 discussed the issue of "New avenues of justice: ADR and the EU".
