Master’s Degree: web redesign and social networks

A new, more intuitive and visual web design which also brings along the master’s degree new social networks

12 may 2016

From the Master’s Degree in Law and Gender Violence, we have been working to redesign the website for months in order to create a more intuitive design which allows the student to find out the options offered by these studies easily.

On the top part of the new site, there are a series of images which change automatically in order to show the students the defining lines and the most important aspects of the UV Master’s Degree in Law and Gender Violence.

  • Voluntary work placements in public institutions: Aimed at the prevention and eradication of gender violence
  • Agreements with several institutions: General Council of the Judicial, Bar Association of Valencia, Foundation for Victim Aid
  • Direct access to Doctoral Studies: This Master’s Degree brings access to the Doctoral Studies Programme for Human Right Excellence, Democracy and International Justice
  • First edition of this unique Master’s Degree in Spain: Transversality and richness in a plural focus with an excellent teaching body.
  • One of the best-valued Master’s Degrees in our country: 4,46/5 in the last academic year according to its students

The new web design continues with the prioritization of the most relevant information in six circles, which are displayed no sooner than you access the site. There, the student can easily find the master’s degree total fees, the number of credits it requires, the number of places offered, if it is onsite or online, its official calendar and the place where it is taught.

The news section has only changed in design but it remains the Faculty’s agenda, where the student can find all the events which are related to the Master’s Degree. The site’s greatest novelty is the blog, where a team of editors publish the master’s degree characteristics, its importance for our daily life and relevant old and new researches and studies. This blog is also a space to clear some of the Master’s Degree concepts, such as the methodology or knowledge fields tackled in it. It also becomes a space for professors and current or former students who can publish their own researches.

Lastly, on the bottom part of the site, we can find another six circles but this time oriented to new students who decide to study at the Universitat de València and who wish to know basic aspects before moving in such as accommodation, transportation, life costs, health protection, leisure and sports offered by the Universitat.

All this changes and novelties come along with their dissemination through social networks: Facebook and Twitter. There wee share all the Master’s Degree contents as well as other news related to the fight against gender violence and the UV world. If you are interested in those fields, do not forget to follow us and share it with all your mates!
