Which is the deadline for presenting my application form?

For the edition 2013-2014 of the Master’s Degree in Quality Management, there are two pre-registration periods:

What should I do if I’m a foreign student?

1: Go to your corresponding Embassy or consulate in Spain and verify the requirements and terms for obtaining a student visa.

2: Have your previous qualification officially recognised by the Spanish Ministry of Education. Consult the requirements and terms of the office of the country that issued the qualification.

3: Once the qualification and certification are officially recognised, the application form will be processed at the University of Valencia.

What are the selection criteria for the Master’s Degree in Quality Management?

Can I access the Master’s Degree in Quality Management if I don’t have yet my Undergraduate Degree?

The first period is addressed to students who already have their undergraduate degree for the access. Both in the second and third period, in addition to graduate students, students who don’t meet this requirement can also do the pre-registration. In this case, in the form of the pre-registration they have to point out this circumstance and towrite down which subjects are pending (Affidavit).

Can I complete successfully the Master’s Degree in Quality Management if my previous studies are not directly related to Business Management?

Yes, the Master’s Degree in Quality Management has been successfully completed by graduates of different engineering fields and by holders of a licenciatura (former Spanish undergraduate degree) in the area of social sciences and biological sciences. In these cases, the students incorporate the knowledge acquired in the Master's degree to their original sector, resulting in a specialised profile that is a true competitive advantage in the labour market.

What are the dates and timetables of the Master’s Degree in Quality Management?

From October 2013 to July 2014.
The timetable is from Monday to Friday in the afternoons, from 17:00 to 21:00

Is it compulsory to take all credits in one academic year?

No, you can enrol in a partial number of credits in order to take the Master’s in two years.

How do I get the Master’s Degree?

Obtaining the 60 credits that make up the programme. 45 credits are obtained passing the face-to-face subjects, 9 credits are obtained with the work placement programme and 6 with the presentation of the Master’s Degree final project.

How can I get access to the doctoral programme of the Department of Business Management?

Once you have completed the Master's Degree in Quality Management you can make the pre-registration for the doctoral programme of the Department of Business Management.

The Master’s Degree in Quality Management provides 30 credits of the 60 that make up the doctoral programme in Business Management, so the students interested, once completed the Master’s, should fill out the application form in order to take the 30 credits of the research pathway.

The deadline for the pre-registration period for the Doctoral programme is published on the website of the Postgraduate Service of the University of Valencia.
