The Pharmacognosy group has extensive experience in educational innovation that is evidenced by its participation in numerous educational innovation projects and congresses, which can be consulted on the following pages, as well as its publications. Throughout our history, we have tried to improve the quality of teaching with the implementation of different methodologies in the teaching-learning process in order for students to acquire the specific and transversal skills proposed in the teaching guide for the subject of Pharmacognosy.

In the last academic years, transversally to the subject, a collaborative work is carried out with students from other educational levels, specifically, with several Secondary Education Institutes. The objective is that our Pharmacognosy students, due to their academic training on medicinal plants and their active principles, are able to transmit and report on the risks of consuming substances of abuse and achieve significant results in its prevention, since they are in a position closest that makes the message more effective.
