From theoretical and methodological assumptions, according to the latest scientific developments, the aim is to make progress in the knowledge of the appearance of the complex societies, from the information derived from prospections and excavations that provide new visions both diachronically and synchronically. Besides the specific functionality of the artefacts, the evaluation of the data needs further analysis, most of them made by bio-archaeological, geo-morphological and archaeometric specialists from our Department and the University. These analyses are of great interest to place human groups in their landscape.
