1. Objective of the service

This service is aimed at easing to the university community the transference to society of the research outcomes of the UV. The dissemination of this information is carried out through press releases which are spread through the media, they will be published on the webpages of the UV and of the specific information agencies to disseminate information, and they will disseminate them through social networks.

2. Addressees

Applying for this service involves the full acceptance of terms and conditions laid down in this document.
Teaching and research staff of the UV may apply for this service as well as all those members of the university community who carry out researching activities subjected to be divulged. In the event that the service affected to third parties different from the applicant, their personal details have to be added to the box “Name and surname of the remaining signatories of the article and their linking” In this event, the applicant or spokesperson states to be authorised of the people affected.

3. Image rights

In the event of having images incorporated, the applicant of the service implies necessarily that the applicant authorises to the UV, for free, to use, disseminate and export images, or part of these, for the specific goals of the service described in the first section.
All this, with the only exception and limitation of these uses and applications that may attack people’s honour rights in the foreseen terms in the organic law 1/1982, of 5 of May, of civil protection to honour rights, personal and familiar intimacy and to images rights.

4. Intellectual propriety

The application and the presentation of the service involves that, without renouncing ownership of the moral rights which correspond to authors or creators, these authorise the UV to use and/or to cite contents for its dissemination, the objective of this service.
Likewise, the applicants state under their responsibility to have the rights and authorisations which may affect to apply for the service.

5. Responsibility

The presentation of the UV is limited to the described in the first section. The UV is not required any liability for the final result of the service.
The user has only right to revoke the consent given in the terms laid down in the following paragraph. This revocation will entail the withdrawing of information from the systems of the UV in a reasonable time according to the availability of the appeals.

6. Exercise of the rights

7. Minors

The service provided by the Scientific Culture and Innovation Unit- Chair for Scientific Dissemination – do not include the capitation of minors’ data and/or images. If this type of use is required, it must be requested by means of a statement sent to this address lopd@uv.es.
