The Valencian Community's Ombudswoman (Síndica de Greuges) attended the days 8, 9 and 10 November to the 20th State Meeting of University Ombudspersons that was held in the city of Cuenca and organised by the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha.

On the 8th, it was addressed the issue about the intellectual property at the University (PDI and PAS), while on the day 9th it was focused on the academic freedom and the role of the University Ombudspersons.

On 10th it was celebrated the 10th Assembly of the State Conference of University Ombudspersons (SCUO), during which the electoral process for the renewal of its presidency and the members of its Executive Committee took place.
The Ombudsman of the Universidad de Granada, Ángel Antonio Ruiz Rodríguez, was elected new president of (SCUO). Among the members of the new Executive Committee, Elena Grau Almero is the Ombudsman of this University.
