Candidate election

Prior to the selection process, the provisional list of those admitted and excluded for not meeting the necessary requirements will be published in the Virtual Classroom for Third Year Students. Excluded students will have a period of 5 calendar days to present their claims by Electronic Register. Once they have been resolved, the definitive list of admitted and excluded students will be published in the Virtual Classroom of Third Year Students of the degree.

The selection will be made from among the admitted students and will be carried out in two phases, a first phase carried out by the University and a second phase carried out by the company, among those students selected by the University.

First phase carried out by the University

The selection will be carried out by a selection committee appointed for this purpose by the Academic Committee of the Degree in Chemical Engineering and will be carried out taking into account the academic record and the credits passed in the degree.

Once the students have been evaluated, they will be ordered and pre-selected for each of the places offered, taking into account the priority previously indicated on the application form.

Second phase carried out by a company

With the information provided by the university (academic record and credits passed), as well as the CV of the students and their motivation letter, the companies that consider it appropriate will conduct a personal interview with each candidate and, subsequently, will issue their pre-selection list.

Resolution

Once both phases have been completed, the Selection Committee will publish the list of people selected by company in order of priority in the Virtual Classroom for students in the third year of the degree course.

If the company's proposal is to declare the vacancy vacant because no applicant has the required skills, the decision will be issued in this sense.

The interested parties, within a period of four calendar days, may present their arguments and submit the documents and justifications they deem appropriate by Electronic Register. The calculation of the aforementioned period shall begin on the day following the day after the publication of the successful candidates.

Once the allegations have been resolved, and the corresponding selection proposal has been submitted to the Academic Committee of the Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, this committee will publish the final decision of the winners of the places for the dual mention in the Virtual Classroom for Third Year Students of the degree.
