Students visit the AIMPLAS facilities.

The AIMPLAS-UV Chair conducted a visit to the Chair’s facilities for students and researchers from the Universitat de València.

On 5 June, a group of students from the Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering (ETSE-UV) and the Degree in Chemistry (Faculty of Chemistry) and researchers form MATS-Materials Technology and Sustainability (UV) visited the AIMPLAS facilities.

The students had the opportunity to visit the AIMPLAS facilities, located in the Technology Park of Paterna. They were accompanied by the training managers Serafín García Navarro and Susana Sanz, as well as José Badia, Head of the AIMPLAS Chair, and Óscar Gil, transfer manager.

Furthermore, the students were given a presentation on a number of topics, which highlighted the significance of ongoing training for prospective employees in the plastics industry.

The objective of these visits is to establish a forum for interaction between young people and the business sector, with a view to collectively driving the development of new and significant advances.
