The Degree Academic Committee organises the teaching and guarantees the academic coherence of the degree programme.
The functions of the academic degree committee are:
- To draw up the proposal for the organisation of the academic year, taking into account the criteria established by the Governing Board and the proposals of the departments.
- Coordinate and supervise the teaching programme of the departments involved.
- Prepare and disseminate the necessary documentation for guidance and information to students, for curricular itineraries, optional subjects and free choice subjects.
- Drawing up the proposal for timetables and space allocation.
The academic degree committees, chaired by the dean or director of the faculty or the person he/she delegates, will guarantee the presence of all the departments responsible for teaching core and compulsory subjects of the degree, of a representation of the departments involved only in optional subjects and of the students of the degree proposed by the assembly of representatives of the faculty.
