Conference of the Servei d’Extensió Universitària, in charge of the doctor in Physics and scientific lecturer Alberto Aparici. It will take place on Wednesday, 25 October in the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Medicine and Odontology.

Next Wednesday, October 25 will take place the first of the conferences of La Nau Gran of the course 2017-18. The conference of the professor of physics and science disseminator Alberto Aparici is titled ‘Distant Worlds: the first steps in the era of exoplanetology.’

The professor Aparici will explain the difficulties to observe planets around other stars and how to overcome them. We will see the first photographs of exoplanets and how the line that separates "planet" from "star" is no longer as clear as it was thought. Can we get to know so much about these distant worlds as to know if their life has risen in them?
