AS4EDI-19 Action: European EDI Providers integrating the AS4 eDelivery

The research group LISSIT has submitted a new proposal to the CEF Telecom Call-eDelivery DSI. This call supports actions aimed to promote the transnational exchange of electronic documents in a secure and reliable.

The goal of AS4EDI-19 Action is to promote the use of eDelivery DSI (Digital Service Infraestructure) amongst private and public entities by integrating the AS4 messaging protocol and their Service Metadata Publishers (SMP) in seven certified Access Points in several Member States.

eDelivery in Europe

eDelivery works as a collection of distributed nodes. It is base don a dsitributed model where each participant becomes a node using standard transport protocols. In this way, companies, citizens and public administrations can safely exchange data and electronic documents.

Thanks to the implementation of the Project AS4EDI-19 Action, the 7 Access Points (AP) of the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) participating in the Project will implement their services migrating from AS2 to AS4.
