The main objective of this project is to support the EDI providers (Electronic Data Interchange providers) of the consortium and their clients to meet the European Standard (EN) on electronic invoice for cross-border transactions.

The Project will facilitate to the 14 EDI providers entities participating the Consortium to implement their digital invoice solutions to meet the European Standard (EN) on electronic invoice for cross-border transactions. The improvements will adapt their solutions to meet bothwith the Directive 2014/55/EU (eInvoicing Directive) and their member Member States’ legislation.

The final goal is to promote the cross-border transactions of eInvoices compliant with the EN in Europe.

Building a Digital Single Market

Some of the Member States are lagging behind the uptake of the EU invoicing standar aif we consider the transposition of the eInvoicing directive into national law. Despite some of the Member States are mandating the acceptance of electronic invoices for all public administrations and/or prescribing the use of the EU eInvoicing standardm the implementation is still low.

This Project, therefore, will contribute to improve and deploy the European eInvoice infraestructure, which will include the eInvoicing Building Blocks. It will have a direct impact in a large number of companies and public administrations in Europe. The final goal of EURINV19 is to contribute to the building of a Single Digital Market.

EURINV19 consortium

Members of the consortium are consolidated and relevant EDI providers for technical operational issues. Each of the EDI providers participating in the Consortium offer in the Member States where they operate relevant technical solutions for eInvoice. The success of the Project is based on the Exchange and collaboration among relevant EDI providers.

The national relevance of partners is a guarantee of long-term sustainability. In addition, for the Consortium, is essential to implement dissemination activities about how does the eInvoice works, which will contribute to a higher impact of this Project.
