Webinar that will take place on May 28th.

The xShare webinar regarding the EHDS Adoption Kit for Citizens will take place online on May 28th at 16 hours. The event is covering the use of the Yellow Button, is open either for citizens, patient advocates and healthcare professionals, and will focus on the digital shift that the European Health Data Space (EHDS) regulation has brought by redefining how electronic health data is accessed, used, and shared across the European Union (EU).

In this sense, the xShare Yellow Button is to be featured on health portals and apps will allow sharing the individuals’ health data across countries for better diagnosis and continuity of care, contribute to life-saving research without compromising their privacy, review, manage, and even amend their health data and exercising their GDPR data rights effortlessly using the European Electronic Health Record Exchange Format (EEHRxF) standard.

The webinar will be held on May 28th at 16 hours through the following link: https://xshare-project.eu/adoption_kit_webinar/

The discussion will focus on how medical information is  accessed, downloaded, and securely shared. Attendants will gain insights into the EHDS, the EEHRxF, the data-driven future of healthcare and how to utilize the Yellow Button.

Through the Yellow Button, patients will have greater control and access to their health records, no matter where they are in the EU, and researchers and policymakers will be able to use anonymized data to drive innovation and improve healthcare outcomes. Moreover, health systems will be better equipped to deliver seamless care across borders.

From personal health records to cross-border care, Europe is laying the foundation for a connected, secure, and citizen-centred digital health ecosystem.
