The xShare project’s community of excellence continues to expand, drawing in experts from industry, healthcare, public administration, academia and civil society. The group aims to establish a lasting coalition of partners dedicated to facilitating policies and advancing the implementation of the Electronic Health Record Exchange Format (EHRxF) implementation.

The xShare initiative proposes the Yellow Button, which is to be featured on health portals and apps will allow, effortlessly and using the European EHRxF, sharing the individuals’ health data across countries for better diagnosis and continuity of care, contributing to life-saving research without compromising their privacy, review, manage, and even amend their health data and exercising their General Data Protection Regulation data rights.

Those who join the community will have the opportunity to interact with leading professionals, receive valuable materials, and engage in insightful conversations. The xShare consortium is keeping interested parties informed about progress and next steps.
