The Secretary General of the Association of Traffic Engineers and Mobility Technicians, Jaime Huerta, together with Dr. Francisco Alonso, Director of INTRAS, presented the "Women and Traffic Management" Award 2021 to the Regional Secretary of Public Works, Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Ms. María Pérez Herrero, in a ceremony held on December 27, 2021 at the headquarters of the Regional Ministry of Public Works, Transport and Sustainable Mobility.

Organized by the Association of Traffic Engineers and Mobility Technicians, the Women and Traffic Management Awards were created in recognition of the work carried out by those women who, from the Administration, the University and private companies, work for Road Safety and, in particular, promote Traffic Engineering in Spain. In this way, the Association intends to grant the meritorious role to women who have been carrying out this work for all these years and who, until relatively recently, had hardly had any recognition.
