DATS Research Group, along with the SINTEC and ARTEC Research Groups, has conducted a consulting project with TUR (The Transport Training Board) who is responsible for setting national standards and goals for all the education and training of existing staff in the transportation sector in Denmark, as well as for the entire ducation of the AMU System for the same sector. The aim of the counselling has been to collaborate in the report that the government was preparing for simulation systems oriented towards both initial and continuous training of professional drivers. The report was oriented towards the suitability of the TUR, ratio cost benefits, types of driving simulators, etc. by addressing both the technological and pedagogical aspects.
