Description

The overall objective of the programme is to prevent young drivers of being involved in traffic accidents, with special emphasis on spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury through the presentation of a number of aspects.

  • Data showing the current problems on the high rates of youth accidents.
  • Risk factors associated with traffic accidents that have the greatest impact on young people.
  • Negative consequences of alcohol and drugs on driving.
  • Importance of the elements of active, passive (helmet and belt) and preventive safety of vehicles.
  • Correct action Protocol in the event of an accident.
  • More serious consequences of traffic accidents, focusing primarily on spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury.
  • Adaptation and integration into the daily life of people with spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury as a result of a traffic accident.

With the implementation of the aim to generate knowledge, positive attitudes and behavior in the field of road safety, or modify existing ones if they are negative or reckless. All this aims to decrease the high accident rate of the youth population and its dramatic consequences.
