Fundación de la Comunidad Valenciana para la prevención de riesgos laborales (Foundation of the Valencian Community for the prevention of occupational risks).
This tool tries to inform and train at the same time all the participants, in order to minimise the risks when performing such a dangerous activity as driving a vehicle. Furthermore, it is thought and designed to cover the needs from both the needs of the employee and the view of the “prevention officer”, as they can use this tool as a base for the design and implementation of their training actions focused in this specific type of accidents.
This programme starts from a research conducted for the Valencian Department of Employment of the Valencian Government which includes all data of traffic accidents related to the work sphere from the D.G.T. and job reports. The data is organised so that each individual can make the most of it, as the access to it can be personalized (through a profile). What has been achieved in this way is to focus which are the most representative risks of each subject according to a set of (variable) personal characteristics.
From bringing up the risks, an association of them with the type of practices and misbehaviours related to them, to finally show which are the strategies and good practices (risk detection, appropriate driving techniques, etc.) that allow the driver to avoid occupational traffic accidents and, failing this, to minimise their consequences.
Its practical nature can facilitate, through its activities and tasks (developed in 3D) and its set of questions, the understanding of the concepts covered being then an attractive and enjoyable element for users.
