The general aim of this project is to set the limits of methodological criteria and contents that enable the subsequent development of an intervention programme geared toward the change of attitude. The programme will have two versions: one of them will be implemented in driving schools and the other will be implemented by different social actors.
Stage 1:
Compilation of the existing information in scientific literature and in different contexts related to the topic. Revision and analysis of the existing scientific literature about the change of attitude, in order to know what has been done worldwide in this field, and select the information that has been useful and valid in this context will be made. Revision and analysis of programmes of attitude change for young people developed internationally (especially those related to the topic of Traffic and Road Safety). Special attention will be given to their evaluative aspects.
Stage 2:
Marking out the criteria and content that must be included in any training programme for young people, orientated to decision making and the change of attitude on Traffic and Road Safety. Additionally, an evaluation of different training actions for young population implemented in our country regardless methodology, etc. will be made. Special attention will be given to the courses conducted in advanced driving schools.
Stage 3:
Development of a training programme oriented to decision making and the change of attitudes on Traffic and Road Safety for its implementation in the context of a driving school, taking into account the important characteristics of the elements applied in the transmission of information.
Stage 4:
Development of a training programme oriented to decision making and the change of attitudes on Traffic and Road Safety for young people to enable its use by different social actors.
