Description
Desk study on child road safety and its relationship to the urban and social contexts. The aim of this research has been to increase the knowledge people have on child road safety and its relationship to the urban and social contexts.
The research covers the following aspects:
- To categorise and prioritise based on the different criteria (incidence, frequency, etc.) of the different factors that affect children’s safety.
- To examine the programmes and practices carried out around the factor under study internationally and
- To propose intervention strategies to mitigate this problem.
The tasks performed by the members of the research team have been the proper of these desk studies: bibliographic research, bibliometric analysis, documents selection, content analysis, integration of knowledge, inclusion of contributions and writing the final report.
The main results of the research are in shown in a publication free of charge:
