Description
Epidemiological studies of traffic accidents and their impact on the Valencian Community: characterization, risk factors and consequences. It aims to identify the determining factors producing accidents in the Valencian Community.
- Analysis from the Centers for Emergency Information and Coordination CICU data (2001)
- Analysis from hospital data from the CMBD (1995-2001)
- Analysis from the Directorate-General of Traffic DGT (1993-2001)
Through the analysis of the data, we proceeded to identify factors that can be used as harmfulness and lethality predictors, just like, the description of the characteristics of the people who take and/or generate the greater road risks.
Likewise, as a result of the study we have performed proposals for actions to reduce the prevalence of accidents and /or major effects.
