Description

Ultimately, the study seeks to answer questions such as: Are emotions present when driving? To what extent? How do they affect the driver?

If we assume that emotions affect driving, and if they do it negatively influencing accidents, what can we do to control them? Likewise, the study includes descriptive variables of the sample, aspects related to the subjects’ emotions, both to features and conditions, in addition of establishing a classification of drivers on a scale of emotional intelligence.
 

The tasks developed by researchers have been:

  • Preparation of the questionaire
  • Design of the research methodology
  • Carrying out the pre-test
  • Application of fieldwork
  • Preparation of data (coding, recording, tabulation)
  • Statistical analysis
  • Drawing up the interpretative report
  • Writing of the final report
