Attitudes-Audi
Opinion research study on youth and driving in order to understand the perceptions, beliefs, thoughts, attitudes and behaviors of young people about driving.
The issues and topics presented included: young people and their relationship with their vehicles and traffic, accident history and rate of infractions that they often make (estricted to specific infractions), and in their defense, of course, the relationship these violations and accidents have with those of their parents. This issue has come to be headlined "Parents and Young People United by Traffic", which tries to establish what all of this menas in relation to their lifestyles.
To develop the research a population survey was conducted, applied by telephone to a sample of 600 young Spanish drivers.
In addition, to conducting this study, the possibility of using complementary methodologies to that of the population survey is established, which eventually was conducted using focus-group.
The tasks developed by the researchers were the elaboration of the questionnaire, the design of the research methodology, conducting the pre-test, the implementation of fieldwork, data preparation (encoding, recording, and tabulation), statistical analysis, the development of interpretative report and drafting the final report.
The main results of the investigation are presented in a publication that is available for free:
