The project proposal arises from an analysis aimed at identifying a set of needs and challenges in the field of sustainable mobility, particularly in the area of promoting public transport as a fundamental measure to achieve a more sustainable development.

From the aforementioned analysis, it is concluded that there is a need for a comprehensive, innovative and efficient tool, mainly aimed at public transport planning and management entities, which is also useful for public transport operating entities, that integrates all types of criteria, economic, social and environmental, in the planning and operation phases of public transport, allowing for management adapted to the specific needs of each entity through the use of different independent modules.

Therefore, the main objective of the REASIG-NA project is to develop a new public transport planning tool, specifically designed for local councils and organisations responsible for public transport management, capable of offering an advance over those available on the market.

The project is being carried out by a public-private consortium made up of CPS Infrastructures Mobility and Environment SL and the University Institute for Research in Traffic and Road Safety - INTRAS.
