The UV players offered an excellent performance throughout the competition, crowned with their participation with a brilliant victory at the end against the San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM), with a scoreboard of 66-75. The decisive encounter took place on Thursday, 29 May at 10:30h and, when it came to an end, the official trophy ceremony was held. The final podium of the female basketball category was composed by the Universitat de València (gold), the UCAM (silver) and the University of Seville (bronze). In spite of their good performance, the masculine basketball team of the UV fell on the quarter finals against the University of Malaga, getting out of the competition for the medals.

The Sport Service of the Universitat de València highlights the work done by the specialist group and the platers, as well as their effort and team spirit, which have been key to achieve this sport success.

The CEU 2025 continues with the last competition foreseen in the calendar: the basketball championship 3x3, which will be held on Thursday 29 to Saturday 31 May in the X-Madrid centre, in Alcorcón. The Universitat de València will be represented again with enthusiasm and competitive spirit.
