En VIO-STRATEGY es desenvolupa una important línia d'investigació sobre les actituds públiques cap a la violència contra la dona en les relacions de parella mitjançant nous enfocaments d'investigació, el desenvolupament i validació de nous instruments, l'anàlisi dels seus correlats i l'anàlisi intercultural d'aquestes actituds. Són de destacar l'anàlisi d'aquestes actituds en diversos col·lectius professionals i contextos culturals, el desenvolupament de nous instruments d'avaluació sobre aspectes com l'acceptabilitat d'aquesta mena de violència, la seua gravetat percebuda, les actituds de culpabilització de les víctimes, així com la validació d'aquestes escales en altres contextos culturals.
