Veïnats, violència i altres problemes socials

La violència en les relacions íntimes com la violència de parella o el maltractament infantil són problemes socials la comprensió dels quals necessita anar més enllà dels factors individuals i relacionals, per a tindre en compte, a més, el context social on aquesta ocorre, com són els veïnats. Des de VIO-STRATEGY s'analitza diverses característiques i processos dels veïnats i la seua rellevància en l'explicació de diversos problemes socials. A més, es proposa un acostament nou a l'anàlisi de la influència dels veïnats en el risc de la violència de parella, el maltractament infantil, així com d'altres problemes socials (e.g., desordre social, criminalitat, suïcidi) amb l'aplicació de tècniques estadístiques avançades com són els models Bayesians espacials i espaciotemporals.
