Description

This project involves collaboration between Hellenists and Latinists to study the reception of Greek literature in medieval Catalan literature. The study combines literary, philological and linguistic methods to analyse the reception of Classical literature, both direct and indirect, through a bridge language. The study includes both literary and non-literary texts. Non-literary texts are defined as those lacking the use of stylistic and rhetorical techniques particular to an elaborated diction, as well as any intention of dissemination.
