Chair AIMPLAS-UV opened a new edition for the Best Degree Final Project (TFG) and Master's Degree Final Project (TFM) on Plastic Sustainability and Social Economy Award.
Participants
Degree and Master's Degree students and graduates from Universitat de València who have presented their TFG or TFM in the 2023-2024 or 2024-2025 academic year.
Requirements:
- Minimum score of 8 in the project.
- The project must not have been winner of this same award.
Candidates must present their projects along with a file describing the fundamental aspects of the research and impact it may have in terms of sustainability.
Goal
The award aims to recognise the best academic projects contributing to generate knowledge and solutions around sustainability and circularity regarding plastic. The Chair wishes to promote university talent and put value on the role of research in the transition to a more sustainable model.

Award prize
The prize will be a 1750 € amount divided as follows:
- 1st position: 1.000 €.
- 2nd position: 500 €.
- 3rd position: 250 €.
- 5 honorable mentions.
The prize is under the PIT regulation and is compatible with other grants and financial support of similar nature.
The award serves to strengthen the commitment of the Chair AIMPLAS-UV with higher education and research excellence along with solution development for a more sustainable solution.
