The COOCV held an institutional event during which awards and insignias were presented to several of its members.
The College of Opticians-Optometrists of the Valencian Community (Colegio de Ópticos-Optometristas de la Comunidad Valenciana - COOCV) held an institutional event this past Friday, January 26, during which awards and insignias were presented to several of its members.
Firstly, there was the presentation of the new Governing Board of the Society of Optometry and Contactology of the Valencian Community (Junta de Gobierno de la Sociedad de Optometría y Contactología de la Comunidad Valenciana), as well as a talk given by Dr. David Piñero Llorens titled: "Clinical Guide to Multidisciplinary Management in the Field of Keratoconus: Optometric Perspective."
Subsequently, the COOCV awards were presented to its members who were celebrating their golden or silver weddings, or those who had joined for the first time and those who had passed the Periodic Validation of Collegiate Membership (Validación Periódica de la Colegiación - VPC). Among those recognized for first-time certification were predoctoral researchers Paula García and Alba Herrero.
