Researcher Mª Amparo Díez, member of the GAP group, delivered on Mars the 7th the lecture "Color in the eye of the beholder: curiosities about color vision" in the Xàbia's Archeological Museum, within the conference cycle organized by the scientific society "Meridià Zero".

Amparo Díez revised the fundamentals of normal and variant color vision and discussed examples of how the visual system extracts relevant information from the color of a scene and how color vision defects may lead to serious information loss.

This conference is part of the dissemination activities organized by the scientific society Meridià Zero, which include a conference cycle and the publication of the dissemination journal DAUALDEU.
