Open Doors Day at the University of Valencia's Science Park features 100+ activities on key science and technology themes

On May 10, 2025, Expociència, the annual Open House Day at the Parc Científic de la Universitat de València (PCUV), was a resounding success. With over 100 exciting activities organized by our talented researchers and professionals from partner companies, attendees explored fascinating topics in science and technology. A highlight was the participation of PhD students from the Department of Optics, Optometry, and Vision Sciences, including Paula García, Anabel Martínez, Aida Ramón, Rosa Vila, Raquel Salvador and Sara Ferrer. They presented the workshop "EXPLORE THE RAINBOW WITH NEWTON" (Newton's Demo), where participants had the chance to investigate the composition of the visible spectrum by creating a Newton disc—demonstrating how white light is made up of colors.
