Paula García attends the interdisciplinary meeting at the UV, where collaborative networks were created and ideas on youth and adolescence research were shared.
On October 2nd, our colleague Paula García, a PhD student in the Research Group of Applied Psychophysics (GAP), attended the "1st Interdisciplinary Meeting of Youth Researchers" organized by the Youth Chair of the University of Valencia. This event gathered over 60 researchers from various faculties with the goal of creating collaborative networks in the fields of adolescence and youth.
During the session, projects and interdisciplinary research opportunities were discussed, encouraging the exchange of ideas between professionals from different fields. Paula, whose doctoral thesis focuses on the design of a psychophysical test to evaluate vision in children with ADHD, highlighted the importance of such meetings to enrich research perspectives and methodologies, especially in areas related to youth well-being. This initiative marks a first step towards building a strong network of researchers interested in youth topics, fostering future collaborations and the development of new proposals to benefit this group.
