Paula García and Alba Herrero attended the Biophotonics for Eye Research 25 conference in Granada from June 4 to 6.
The BER25 – Biophotonics for Eye Research conference, organized by Sedoptica, was held from June 4 to 6, 2025, at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Granada. This international summer school addressed the latest techniques and findings in imaging and optics of vision, combining master classes, invited talks, scientific presentations, and ample opportunities for discussion and interaction among young researchers. In total, around 100 international attendees participated, with approximately 70 doctoral students presenting their research. This year, two predoctoral researchers from the GAP attended to present the results of their theses and share knowledge in the field. Student Paula García presented “Validation of a novel computerized contrast sensitivity test: comparison with the FACT” and Alba Herrero presented “Colour vision in early Parkinson’s disease: MUC test assessment.”
