Professor Rosa Hernández Andrés participated with a communication on recent amblyopia treatments in the XXV Congresso Internacional de Optometria e Contactologia, held 24-26 March 2023 at Figueira da Foz (Portugal)

The conference is organized by the União Profissional dos Ópticos e Optometristas Portugueses (UPOOP), chaired by Henrique Nascimento. This year the conference topic was "New perspectives in optometry: from teaching to daily practice".

The communication presented by Rosa Hernández, entitled "AMBLIOPIA: NEW TREATMENTS WITH POSSITIVE RESULTS", highlighted the importance of binocular treatment, based in perceptual learning and supported by scientific evidence.
