Pepa Bueno, Adela Cortina, Arancha González, Inmaculada Rodríguez-Piñero, and Pablo Simón will participate in this dialogue about the new European electoral map
The Cullera City Council and the UV have organized a round table to understand the new era that the European Union faces in the immediate future. A forum where the journalist and director of El País, Pepa Bueno; the dean of the Paris School of International Affairs and former Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union, and Cooperation, Arancha González; the emeritus professor of Ethics and Political Philosophy at the University of Valencia, Adela Cortina; the economist and until recently MEP, Inmaculada Rodríguez-Piñero; and the political scientist and professor at the Carlos III University, Pablo Simón, will break down the outcome and landscape left by the latest European elections through an academic and professional analysis.
The event, which will be held on June 24 at 11:00 a.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room of the Cullera Market Gardens, will examine from a geopolitical, economic, social, ethical, and journalistic perspective the factors that have led to the crossroads Europe now faces. This will be articulated around a dialogue between the participants.
The day is organized jointly by the Cullera City Council and the University of Valencia through the Cullera City Chair, and within the framework of the Uni-Society program, as this city is one of the centers of cultural initiatives in the territory where a wide program of activities is developed.
