Research on Critical Theory in social sciences and humanities
 

The group carries out research and translations on authors related to the Research Institute of the University of Frankfurt, home to the so-called Critical Theory in philosophy and sociology, such as, for example: T. W. Adorno, W. Benjamin, J. Habermas, A. Honneth, S. Kracauer, etc., as well as its sources in the philosophy of Hegel and Marx.

This research is applied to philosophical (aesthetics, philosophy of law, history of philosophy, theory of arts) and sociological (sociological discourse analysis, discrimination, sociological theory) fields.

The Critical Theory Research Group (TCr) collaborates with the social science doctoral lines on social pathologies, pathologies of reason and social and sociological theory.
