- Aesthetics and criticism: Aesthetics, art and philosophical knowledge. Philosophy of art as a critique of society. Conception of the aesthetic in Critical Theory.
- Social research and global critical thinking. Implementation and development of concepts and figures of critical thinking in social research. Global dialogue of critical theory.
- Representations of atrocities and mass violence. Trauma, memory and perpetration in the 20th-21st centuries. The aim of this line is to study the cultural representations (images, literature, testimonies and new media) of mass violence, such as war, genocide and crimes against humanity, as they appear from the First World War to the present day.
