Mediaflows 2024 Congress is held at the University of Valencia from September 18 to 20, and presents as its central theme "Citizenship in the digital media sphere"
The aim of the event is to analyse the dispute between political and social actors for the control of communication flows in a context of overabundance of content. It is about exploring the strategic uses of political communication in this new scenario, as well as the role that citizens assume in the generation and dissemination of information. The congress seeks to compare traditional and emerging forms of leadership and communication strategies, with the participation of academics and representatives of the political and social sphere.
Francesc Felipe Campillo, member of Econcult, and professor Álvar Peris-Blanes will present the communication Digital social activism in the formation of contemporary identities in Spain.
