1. PROJECTS.
Over the last 15 years, we have secured funding for both competitive projects and the Article 83 agreement to the tune of EUR 2 million, of which more than half of the resources came from competitive calls within the European framework.
Design of competitive European projects As a research unit, in the last 10 years she has participated in numerous international projects related to the effects of cultural and creative activities on social innovation processes (SOSTENUTO), the role of spaces in creativity (3C4Incubators), the existence of regional development models based on the cultural and creative sectors (CREATIVEMED) or the identification of excellent practices in cultural policies in the urban and regional field (CULTURE FOR CITIES AND REGIONS). It participates or has participated in mobility and exchange projects such as EUROASIAN CREASPACE NETWORKING, or in the RISE TRANSMAKING call project, which aims to establish a multilateral network of research and innovation personnel active in the fields of site-based artistic activities as a space to create alternative narratives for social, economic and democratic renewal. Also noteworthy are the MED projects; OPEN DOORS and CREATIVEWEAR, completed in the last months
More recently, Econcult has secured funding for the MED CHEBEC projects on the internationalisation of the cultural and creative sectors, and for the H2020 designsCAPES project on the role of design as a facilitator of urban innovation. The most recent project is the H2020 MESOC project, led by Econcult, which seeks to find new ways of measuring the social impact of culture.
Although less successful we have also participated in national and regional I+D calls developing projects such as INNOVA. Innovation, creativity and culture or ES_CCANVI.
We have also articulated a very stable relationship with the consulting company CULTURALINK which, precisely on the basis of the above-mentioned relationship, has opened a headquarters in the University of Valencia Science Park and with which we develop numerous collaborations.
Design of research projects for companies and institutions
Within the framework of the conventions we have addressed various types of issue, which can be grouped into:

2. DISSENY DE PROCESSOS DE PLANIFICACIÓ CULTURAL.
Econcult has developed, since the mid-1990s, a solid theoretical framework for the analysis of cultural policies, as well as tools for their evaluation and monitoring. It is for this purpose that it has the analytical and statistical tools to propose in participatory processes cultural policy proposals at different territorial levels. As examples of these capabilities, it can be noted that Econcult has been directly responsible for the Catalan Government Valenciana's cultural policy programme (2016-2020) Fes Cultura and also participates in its review following the impact of COVID, in the Cultura per a la Recuperació programme. But members of Econcult have also participated in many other cultural planning processes throughout national and European territory.
3. ELABORATION OF DATABASE INDICATOR AND PROCESSING SYSTEMS AND CULTURAL STATISTICS
One of the tasks to which I have devoted the most attention and dedication has been the development of systems for quantifying aspects relating to the cultural and creative sectors.
These proposals include:
- The development of software and applications by measuring cultural consumer behaviours such as the AU Cultur application
- Construction of indicator systems for specific purposes such as the Nueva guía para la evaluación de las políticas culturales locales
- Build data visualization systems and dashboards using programs like Tableau
- To prepare and build statistics on cultural and creative sectors at both regional and European level
- Construction of models for estimating social or economic impacts in the cultural and creative sectors
4. DESIGN AND SUPPORT FOR PROPOSALS FOR ACCELERATION AND INTERNATIONALISATION OF CULTURAL SECTORS
Econcult is offered as a specialized unit to address the needs of acceleration in the cultural and creative sectors. With this proposal, our unit aims to help the economic and professional organisations of the Cultural and Creative Sectors to design and materialise the business consolidation process. The general outline of the proposal is presented in a synthesised way to the following scheme and basically seeks to design a coherent process of evaluating cultural agents with the potential for acceleration and internationalisation, identify proposals for financing and forming consortiums at both European and international level, which we associate with the Valencian agents and from there, depending on the shortcomings or strengths, to design a training plan, activation of connections and mentoring for drafting and inserting into international projects.
In the formative dimension, we start with the detection of the need for the skills of value-generating SCC, which are observed in the next conceptual map.
